The Boston Celtics took a commanding 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals with a 107-89 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 2 on Tuesday night.
Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists, while Jaylen Brown added 24 points and 7 rebounds. Luka Doncic had a triple-double for the Mavericks with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, but it wasn't enough to overcome Boston's hot shooting.
The Celtics shot 55.4% from the field and 45.5% from three-point range, while the Mavericks shot just 41.9% from the field and 29.6% from three-point range.
The Celtics also dominated the rebounding battle, outrebounding the Mavericks 52-36.
The series now shifts to Dallas for Games 3 and 4 on Thursday and Sunday.
