In a thrilling Game 2 of the NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics extended their lead over the Dallas Mavericks, winning 105-98.
Jrue Holiday led the scoring for the Celtics with 26 points, while Jayson Tatum contributed 23. Luka Dončić led the Mavericks with 23 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome Boston's strong performance.
The Celtics dominated the second half, outscoring the Mavericks 55-38. They also held the Mavericks to just 3-of-13 shooting from the 3-point line.
With the win, the Celtics take a 2-0 lead in the series. Game 3 will be held in Dallas on Tuesday, June 6th.
